In Korean mythology, it is believed that humans originated from a bear and a tiger. Soyeon incorporated these characters into her story to symbolize her Korean identity. During the Carnival in the Netherlands, Soyeon and her friends wore human costumes to blend in with the crowd. This experience inspired her to write about the desire to be accepted in society regardless of one's appearance. The story highlights that discrimination can occur when someone looks different, but ultimately, people just want to be able to blend in and enjoy life.
